Her Exiled Children: Poetry in America and the 1916 Easter Rising

Colum McCann hosts a night of poems by Irish and Irish-American poets read by fellow writers Alice McDermottAnne Enright, and Matthew Thomas, as well as actresses Geraldine Hughes, providing powerful reflections on Irish nationalism in America at the time of the Rising.


Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and author Paul Muldoon debuts a new poem, commissioned by Glucksman Ireland House NYU for the occasion.
