In addition to regular monthly evening business networking events and the monthly business networking breakfast, the IBO has numerous other special networking and social events during the course of the year: Christmas Party, Summer Networking Party, the Gala Ball, the Annual Golf Classic, Irish Culture Night and more!
In addition to its own networking events, the IBO also sponsors other events and initiatives such as Theater Night, Business Forums, and joint events with other networking groups.

The main evening event provides a forum for members and guests to listen to interesting speakers and to voice their opinions on a diverse range of business related topics in a friendly atmosphere. Each monthly evening event features a guest speaker and is followed by an informal networking session. Admission is free of charge for members. Non-members may attend one meeting as a guest before joining the organization, or may re-attend as non-members and make a nominal donation to the IBO at the door.
Date: Generally, the third Tuesday of each month April-December, and the fourth Tuesday of the month January-March to avoid holiday conflicts.
Venue: Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel, January-November, different venue in December.
Time: 8:00am - 9:30am
Cost: $25 including Buffet-style Irish Breakfast for members who RSVP by 12noon the previous day, $30 for all others.

The Irish Business Person of the Year Award, our highest honor, is presented annually at the Gala Ball. The Arthur F. Clements Awards honor outstanding members of the organization and are presented at the Gala Ball. The IBO also recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs with The IBO Entrepreneur of The Year Award.
The IBO Celtic Spirit Award is presented annually to an individ-ual who exemplifies the business and social ingenuity, generosity and tenacity that has made the Celtic race so enigmatic."
The IBO Social Calendar includes such events as the annual IBO Golf Classic, Night at the Races, Summer Picnic, Cruise on the Hudson, Christmas Party, Debates, Theatre Night and more.
The IBO periodically helps to organize or facilitate seminars of interest to our members such as Public Speaking, Financial Planning and more.
These sessions provide an opportunity for members to introduce themselves and their product or service in a unique personal setting. The meetings run for one hour and feature a speaker of interest to the members.
