Q: Do I need to be a member to attend a meeting?
A: No. Nonmembers are charged a fee to attend our in-person events. Our Zoom events are free to all. See our full list of upcoming events here.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: Yes. All members in good standing may bring one guest to most IBO Events. Some restrictions may apply.
Q: Do I need to be Irish to join the IBO?
A: As stated in our bylaws, The Irish Business Organization (“IBO”) of New York is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nondenominational association which seeks to promote, foster, and advance the business interests of Irish and Irish-Americans. IBO membership includes persons who are Irish citizens and/or American citizens with Irish ancestry and/or people who have no Irish heritage and may never have lived in Ireland, but who are connected to us by friendship, by commerce or, most commonly, by a love of Irish culture.
