The IBO J-1 Directory |
In addition to a general members-only directory, the IBO offers a separate directory exclusively for J-1 Graduate Visa holders seeking employment. IBO members (and potential employers!) have access to degrees, accreditation, industry, and job desired of all J-1s included. Direct and private messaging is available between members. The J-1 Directory is featured in the dropdown of the main menu on our website and is included in our monthly e-newsletter as well as its own monthly e-blast. |

The J-1 Workshop: “Get Organized, Get Connected and Get Noticed” |
Our inaugural IBO J-1 Workshop was a wonderful success! Organizers Seán O'Dowd, Tom Matteo, Ciara Brady and Colleen Berry Conway shared insights with dozens of attendees on how to best prepare before they leave Ireland to maximize their chances of landing a job. Here we share a PDF of key takeaways we created to highlight some of the best practices discussed during our workshop. We are also pleased to sure a full recording of our virtual workshop for those who couldn't attend or those who want to rewatch and refresh. If you have not already become a J-1 Graduate Visa holder member of the IBO, please consider joining at a discounted rate of only US$25.
