James F. Haggerty is an attorney, communications consultant and author. He is the CEO of PRCG | Haggerty, a PR firm and the newly created sports marketing division PRCG | Sports. He is also the founder of the crisis software company CrisisResponsePro.

Jim is among the best known crisis and litigation communications consultants in the United States, and is the author of two books: In the Court of Public Opinion: Winning Strategies for Litigation Communications (3rd Edition will be published in Spring 2019); and Chief Crisis Officer: Structure and Leadership for Effective Communications Response (2017), both published by ABA Books. in 2018 he has been named one of the top public relations professionals in the United States by Chambers & Partners, the international legal directory, and is was also named by PR News in 2017 as one of the 50 "Gamechangers" of PR. 

He attended Marist College and Binghamton University as a undergraduate (BA, Binghamton), and law school at Fordham University and Stetson University in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

His mother grew up in Moville, County Donegal, and his father's parents were both from Kilcar in the west of Donegal.
