The IBO of NY is proud to announce a conversation with actress, writer, and producer Siobhan Fallon Hogan on "How Irish Humor and Faith Guided My Career".

Congratulations to John Lee, the 2024 IBO St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal! The installation of John and his aides will also be taking place at this evening event.

  

About Siobhan Fallon Hogan

Siobhan Fallon Hogan is a character actress known for both dramatic and comedic roles. She has a long list of television credits, including cast member on 20 episodes of Saturday Night Live, as well as prominent parts on Seinfeld and Law and Order. Hogan has appeared in films such as Men in Black, Forest GumpDancer in the Dark, and many others. She has a supporting role in the recent film Eileen with Ann Hathaway.

Hogan wrote and starred in the 2023 independent film Shelter in Solitude, which has an astounding 98 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Those planning to attend the February 21 IBO meeting have the option of watching Shelter in Solitude via this link.

Hogan grew up in an Irish-Catholic family in New York. She resides in both New Jersey and upstate New York—and very much appreciates the support she’s received from the Irish-American community the tri-state area.

About John Lee

A "Communicator, Connector, Convener" with roots in Offaly, Clare, and Cork, John stepped off on New York’s “Irish Trail” in earnest 15 years ago when he helped promote the “Bards for St. Brigid’s” fundraiser to save the Lower East Side “Famine Church.” He’d serve on the board of the Irish American Writers and Artists and multiple board roles with the Irish Business Organization of New York, most recently as the IBO’s two-term “pandemic” president.

His efforts in diaspora engagement include moderating Ireland Day at the NYSE, serving as a Belfast Homecoming Ambassador and a New York New Belfast honorary chair, and cohosting with fellow IBO member Martin Nutty the podcast Irish Stew: Conversation for the Global Irish Nation.

John works in public relations as a VP with Goodman Media International, bringing in several Irish clients, and lives on New York’s Upper West Side with his wife, IBO member Loretta Bricchi Lee.
