Join up with your IBO friends - old and new - as we march through the streets of Manhattan, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the city on the most Irish day of the year. Let's celebrate our heritage, our culture, and our presence in the heart of New York.
Join IBO Parade Grand Marshal Maura Clare, the Aides to the Grand Marshal - Tami Ellen McLaughlin, Shelley Ann Quilty and Eileen Scully - and our members, friends and family for this unforgettable experience. And then keep the festivities going at the IBO afterparty, with food, open bar, and entertainment.

MARCHING GUIDELINES
Dress Code: Business dress code is required (per NYC St. Patrick’s Day parade marching guidelines). IBO dress code is dark blue or black from head to toe (including hats, jackets and shoes); no backpacks or logos allowed.
Line Formation: Guidelines will be distributed at check-in before marching. Grand Marshal and her aides will lead our unit followed by executive and advisory board officers, then IBO members and their guests. Please note that any strollers will be positioned at the rear of our group per NYC SPDP requirements. No pull or push wagons are permitted.
Be Prepared: Check the weather forecast for appropriate attire and be sure to dress accordingly for distance walking. The parade route is 1.8 miles (34 blocks) from start to finish on predominately flat street pavement with the occasional slight incline/decline.

Location: 122 East 83rd Street between Park & Lexington Avenues (10-minute walk from end of parade route)

ABOUT KRISTEN SHAUGHNESSY
After a 30 plus year career as an anchor/reporter Kristen Shaughnessy is now an independent journalist exposing fraud in the financial market and fighting for trade settlement and market reform. Her work is largely on X at @kshaughnessy2.
She was an anchor/reporter at NY1 for 26 years. She was named to Irish America's Magazine's Top 100" list and was chosen as one of the "Top 50 Irish American Power Women and "Top Media 30".
She was reporting live from the World Trade Center on September 11 when the first tower fell and took part in an upcoming documentary for the 25th anniversary. Her series for the 15th anniversary won a NYS Associated Press award.
In the final years of her television career Kristen and four of her female colleagues took on the fight to make sure female journalists are valued for their hard work, experience and institutional knowledge.
Their case made headlines in countries around the world, including Brazil and China. They are often asked to speak to small and large groups and have mentored countless women and men at various stages in their careers.
